Nubs & Stumps Lacrosse Club is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to creating inclusive opportunities for individuals with limb differences through the sport of lacrosse. Our mission is to provide a platform for athletes—regardless of their physical abilities—to engage in competitive lacrosse, build community, and inspire the next generation of players.
Much like other lacrosse clubs, we assemble competitive rosters, participate in tournaments, and fundraise to support our programming. However, what sets us apart is that every member of Nubs & Stumps Lacrosse Club has a limb difference, whether congenital or acquired. Our athletes proudly represent the strength and resilience that come from overcoming physical challenges, and we are committed to celebrating and empowering these unique experiences within the sport.
At the heart of our organization is a desire to inspire young individuals with limb differences to embrace the game of lacrosse and challenge any doubts or limitations they may have placed on themselves. We strive to demonstrate that lacrosse is a sport for all, regardless of physical, mental, or other perceived barriers.
Nubs & Stumps Lacrosse Club achieves it’s mission by offering a variety of programs designed to engage both youth and adult athletes with limb differences. Our club provides competitive opportunities against able-bodied teams and other limb different groups, ensuring our members have the chance to grow, compete, and thrive in the lacrosse community. Additionally, we host camps and clinics focused on promoting inclusivity and increasing the visibility of limb different athletes within the broader lacrosse world.
Our goal is to lead the way in promoting limb different lacrosse, creating a path for future generations, and growing the sport in a way that is truly accessible to all. Through our programs, we aim to break down barriers, encourage participation, and foster a sense of belonging for all athletes, regardless of ability.
